Our department was granted the clinical key specialty of Shandong province in2013.At present, the Gastroenterology Department consists of three sub-departments, including Gastroenterology Department I, Gastroenterology Department II and Digestive Endoscopy Center. It is currently staffed with 24 doctors and 58 nurses, among whom there are 3 professors and 6 associate professors. 3 members of its staff have achieved doctoral degrees, 19 have achieved master’s degrees. As one of the key disciplines of digestive diseases in Shandong province, our department specializes in diagnosing and treating various intensive or complicated digestive system diseases, such as gastrointestinal disease, chronic liver disease, Gastroenterology biliary disease, pancreatic disease, etc. Digestive Endoscopy Center owns excellent medical and technical staff as well as exquisite instruments. It is one of the best endoscopy centers in the Yellow River Delta with modern facilities and effective treatment. Apart from regular diagnosis and treatment programs, our department carries out painless gastroscopy, painless enteroscopy, ERCP, ESD, EMR, variceal injection of tissue glue or sclerosing agent and loop ligature, capsule endoscopy ultrasonic endoscopy, single balloon endoscopy, Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy and so on, which largely promotes the level of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment in the Yellow River Delta.
